Wagtail Space is an annual event organised by FourDigits in Arnhem, The Netherlands. It offers Wagtail enthusiasts of all levels and roles 3 days of sprints, talks and socialising. The 2018 edition that took place two weeks ago was attended by people from 4 different continents!
This year most of us at Lab Digital joined on Friday for the talks. Our colleague Mike Dingjan, one of the Wagtail core members, also joined Thursday for the “State of Wagtail” meeting.
On Friday, Mike and the other attendees of Wagtail Space were joined by Michael van Tellingen, Paul Stevens, Boris Besemer and Jasper Berghoef.
Boris, Jasper and Paul worked friday morning on updating the Wagtail Personalisation module to Wagtail 2.0. This project was recently moved from our GitHub organization account to the Wagtail GitHub organization to improve the collaboration with other parties (and thus increasing the adoption rate). We’d love your input on our current implementation and hear about your thoughts.

Michael and Mike started the work on a two factor authentication module for Wagtail. An initial release is available on pypi.org/wagtail-2fa and github.com/labd/wagtail-2fa
Michael gave a lightning talk regarding performance in Wagtail. Specifically the performance impacted by the StreamField. You can have a look at his presentation here:
